Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan said that during the upcoming September 2 holiday, the province is expected to welcome about 45,000 visitors.
It is known that currently, the whole province has 600 accommodation establishments operating with a total of 17,500 rooms; in addition, the whole province also has 550 apartments and 315 villas for rent, ensuring to serve a variety of tourists at the same time. During the peak days of September 1-2, the room occupancy rate of 3-4 star hotels and resorts in areas such as Phan Thiet city center, Ham Tien, Mui Ne, Tien Thanh, Ham Thuan Nam, La Gi reached 90-95%. In the remaining areas, the average room occupancy rate reached 70-80%.
Although the demand for booking rooms in Phan Thiet on the occasion of National Day is high, the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan affirmed that room rates and services only increased by about 10%.
